Access Formbird FLEET on a Mobile Device

Formbird FLEET runs in a web browser and works on any device — mobile, tablet, laptop, or desktop. No app installation is required. We recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome on all devices.

Note: Samsung's built-in browser and Incognito mode in any browser are not recommended. For the best experience, use Google Chrome.

Accessing in a Browser

  1. Install or update Google Chrome on your device.
  2. Open Chrome.
  3. Type your organisation's Formbird FLEET URL into the address bar and press Go. The URL typically looks like myorg-fleet.formbird.com.

If you are unsure of your organisation's URL, ask your Administrator.

Adding Formbird FLEET to Your Home Screen

Adding FLEET to your home screen gives you a shortcut that opens the application directly, without needing to open Chrome and type the URL each time. It behaves similarly to a regular app.

Note: Device manufacturers update their software regularly. If the steps below do not match your device, refer to your device's support documentation.

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open your Formbird FLEET URL in Google Chrome or Safari.
  2. Select the Share button (the box with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Select Add to Home Screen.
  4. Set the name to Formbird FLEET and select Add.

Formbird FLEET now appears on your home screen. Select it to open the application directly in your browser.

Android (Samsung)

  1. Open your Formbird FLEET URL in Google Chrome.
  2. Select the Menu button (three vertical dots in the top right corner).
  3. Select Add to Home screen.
  4. Select Create shortcut.
  5. Set the name to Formbird FLEET and select Add.
  6. Select Add again to confirm placement on the home screen.

Important: Use the Correct URL for Shortcuts

When setting up a home screen shortcut, only use your organisation's base URL — for example, myorg-fleet.formbird.com. Do not use a URL that includes a specific document or page address (anything with /form/ followed by a long ID).

Using a document-specific URL as a shortcut can cause problems:

  • You may land on a page you do not have permission to view
  • You may land on a page that has been deleted or no longer exists
  • You may bypass your normal homepage and land somewhere unexpected

If you are unsure of the correct base URL, ask your Administrator.
